We have been visiting this casino for over 25 years. While I have pointed out in previous reviews many good things about the Shooting Star, I will restrict this review to two negative comments.

One of the leading causes of cancer is smoke inhalation. In Canada, all casinos are smoke-free and this does not appear to have affected gambling to any discernible degree.

Some casinos have outside patios and some even have smoking rooms. When we return to the smoke-free atmosphere of our rooms accolades for prohibiting this in the hotel , our clothes reek of smoke and our lungs suffer the consequences.

I suggest that all casino managers in Minnesota meet to discuss mutually banning smoking at all their locations!
